Brick hauling isn't always that fun, but these kids just keep smiling!

Katrina II

This is not staged, mocked up, setup. This is your sons den down here. Four nights away from home and disaster strikes. Notice the high water storage, the Rubbermaid bin up on the cabinet.

Lets row out to the ball park

This is Milne park. The surrounding area including this park was flooded in over 7 feet of water. Notice the brown water line above the boys heads.

Austin has to go!

This house is located one block from one of the first levy breaks. The water rose a foot an hour up the top of the door way of home in this area. This house is still in ruins.

This is one of the smaller kids that joined us for dinner.

Safe Arrival!

We arrived safely yesterday evening to stormy weather. After a good night's sleep we woke up to a beautiful morning! We'll spend today and tomorrow touring the hardest hit parts of New Orleans and getting to know the people that we're serving with. Our hosts, Berean Bible Church, have been very hospitable.

We're already seeing God how God is moving! Last night we found out that as part of our service, we would be working at a deaf school. This is so exciting for several people on our team who know sign language and are excited to minister at the school.

Thank you to all that are praying!
